Why are you limited to that small set of fonts?
Browsers (Internet explorer etc) can use only the fonts installed on your computer.  So it means that every visitor of your web page needs to have all the fonts you want to use installed in his/her computer. Of course, different people will have different fonts installed, and thus come the need of a standard set of fonts common to all computers world wide.

Format / Headings

These "H" or Heading formats are used for titles on your pages.  Search engines like Google regard any text styled with a heading to be important text, placing keywords in the heading text helps your ranking in Google.

Headings work a little different to normal styles, headings style a whole paragraph of text and can not be used to style just a few words in your paragraph.

  1. Click in the middle of your text (do not highlight, it can be unreliable)
  2. Click on the "Format" drop-down box on the left menu
  3. Select the format/heading you want.

To remove a heading:

  1. Click in the middle of your text (do not highlight, it can be unreliable)
  2. Click on the "Format" drop-down box on the left menu
  3. Select "Paragraph"

Copy & Pasting text from documents or other websites

When copying text from other applications or websites we recommend stripping all formatting (remove bold, colours and fonts); using the "Paste as plain text" () tool. This is particularly important because content from another Website/document may contain hidden elements that can create problems for Webitor and even break your site!

NOTE: You may be shown a "Please allow pop-ups alert" in Internet Explorer, click ok.
Then click on the yellow bar at the top of your screen and select "Aways allow pop-ups for this site" and you wont see this alert any more.

Copy & Paste Text from a Word Document:

When copying text from Microsoft Word we recommend you use the "Paste from Word" () tool. This option will keep most of your formatting (fonts, colours, sizes, and tables) and remove any nasty hidden code that could interfere with Webitor.
