How to add a new product

  1. Log into Webitor
  2. Click the "Shop" tab at the top of the screen
  3. Click the "Add new product" button
  4. Give your product a title e.g. Mens Polo Shirt
  5. Type a short description about your product e.g 100% cotton, available in 5 colours.
    This will be shown under the title on your main product page.
  6. Click the "Create new product" button to continue

    Now you can fill out more details about your product.
    Your product tile & short description are already filled out for you
  7. Click "Choose a photo" to select the main image for your product
  8. Browse for the photo on your computer
  9. Click open
  10. Tick "Resize my image"
  11. Click upload
  12. You will now see a small preview of your image on the page
  13. Type your full description, This description is shown when a user clicks for "more information" about your product.  You can use the Webitor Editing tools on the left to style your full description, use bullet points, add colours and images.
  14. Product details:
    Product Name: leave this blank if you only have one option available
    Price: The price before shipping is added
    Shipping: Tick yes if this product will be posted in the mail, leave unticked if your product is available for download.
    Digital File:  Use only for products that are available for download. Select the document that is for sale like e-books, it can be a PDF or DOC.
    Click choose file, browse for your file on your computer, select open, click "Upload & Link"
  15. Click the plus (+) to add a new row of options for your product. This will create a drop down list of option available for this product, such as sizes, colours and styles.
  16. Customise the text that is writing above your options.
  17. click "Save & Publish product"
  18. That's it your product is now available for sale on your websites main product page.
