Linking text to an existing page within your site

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to view our price list)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "Page in your site" tab
  4. Select your page from the drop-down list
  5. Click "Insert Link"
  6. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Linking text to a new page within your site

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to view our price list)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "Page in your site" tab
  4. On the right of the page click the text "link to a new page"
  5. Give your page a title
  6. Click "Insert Link"
  7. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Linking text to another website

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to view our price list)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "Another Website" tab
  4. Type in the full address of the website including http://www.
  5. Click "Insert Link"
  6. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Linking to a email address

Please note: placing an email address on your website increases your risk of receiving spam e-mail.
We recommend directing your customers to your contact page where they can fill out a contact form instead.

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to email us)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "Email Address" tab
  4. Type in the full email address, no spaces. Example: info@hotmail.com
  5. Click "Insert Link"
  6. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Linking to an existing file or document

Link to a file; for example a word document, PDF or ther document you want to share.

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to download our report)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "File/Document" tab
  4. On the right of the page click the text "link to an existing file/document"
  5. Select your file from the drop-down list
  6. Click "Insert Link"
  7. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Files Accepted: pdf, word, power point, excel, flash(swf), zip files, movies, real player, wmv, html, htm.
If you have another file type you would like to update please contact us for an exception.

Upload & Link to a new file or document

  1. Highlight the text you want people to click on. (For example click here to download our report)
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Click on the "File/Document" tab
  4. Browse for your file on your computer, select it and click open.
  5. Click "Upload & Link"
  6. Wait a few minutes for the file to upload to the website
  7. Your text will now be underlined, save your page and click preview draft to test your link.

Files Accepted: pdf, word, power point, excel, flash(swf), zip files, movies, real player, wmv, html, htm.
If you have another file type you would like to update please contact us for an exception.

Linking images

You can make any image a link to pages, websites, files or email addresses.

  1. Click on your image
  2. Click the small link icon that appears above your text () OR click the link button on the left menu.
  3. Select the type of link you would like to make from the tabs at the top of the screen
  4. Follow the instructions on screen.
  5. Save your page and click preview draft to test your link.
